Counselling & Supervision Services:

I have been practicing for over 25 years and provide general counselling for young people (from 16 years), individuals and couples. My practice also includes counselling for the Cancer Society, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Counselling.

My Counselling Approach

I draw on a variety of counselling modalities including Narrative, Art Therapy and Cognitive Therapies. This is governed by the client and the issues presented in counselling. In our first session we will discuss ways we can work together.

Supervision has been an increasing and significant part of my practice for over 15 years.
I currently supervise people working in a variety of roles (including: counselling, support / advocacy, social work, clinical team leaders, careers, education, administration, management and nursing) and work contexts (schools, tertiary institutions, state owned organisations, health sector and community agencies). My supervision training has included a variety of one off workshops and short courses and participation in a doctoral research project on supervision. It is the latter experience that has been the most valuable for me in shaping my supervision practice.I am happy to have a preliminary meeting with you to explore whether I would be a good fit for you and your supervision needs.
